On July 10th, we arrived at the British international airport and began a memorable trip.

We lived in a hostel of Worcestar. The environment is beautiful and the air is fresh. Britain is an island nation affected by the ocean monsoon climate. Can you imagine when it was summer in china, it was summer in China, it was still cool and delightful there in Britain?

We went to Stourport High school the next day. We visited the campus and helped the seventh grade students complete assigned projects. Romandy and I were assigned to a class and helped a group of students finish a delicate work which won the second prize in the competition. That made us very happy. After that, we also received a card.

In the evening, we attended the school party in which we enjoyed breathtaking outdoor activities, interesting indoor games and some singing and dancing. What impressed me most was the charity. I bought a Van Gogh album and some delicate cards.

On July 12th,we went shopping and had meals with our partners' family. It was really a nice day! In the next few days, we had a chance to go for a sightseeing to the sea to taste delicious food and pay a visit to ancient buildings and feel the inner sentiment.

Someone once said, rowing a boat to the Cambridge written by Xu Zhimo, tasting a cup of afternoon tea, talking about the changeable weather with gentlemen and so on. This is just the Britain, the sun never sets. Here lives the most pertinent royal family and still deduces the legends about princess and prince.

What's more, here born a great wordsmiths Shakespeare and continue told the magic story of Harry Potter. Ella took me around the Shakespeare's former residence. Downstairs are the living room and kitchen. Upstairs are some pieces of furniture. I remember there was a wooden cradle. The living room and kitchen furnishings are placed as they used to be. Inside a small room there are many signatures and kotobas showing generations of people's love to Shakespeare.

In the modern exhibition houses there are many pictures, texts and sculptures. One of the most striking work is a group of real-life waxes showing the main characters in the famous plays. So the Stratford Town is called 'Shakespeare's World'.

As is known to all, University of the Oxford is one of the most prestigious universities in Britain.    Oxford is a beautiful city of stunning architecture, history and culture. When we reached Oxford, we found ancient and modern colleges, fascinating museums and galleries, and plenty of parks, gardens and green space in which we could relax ourselves.

Of course, we also visited the Oxford University. We visited museums, libraries and places of interest. First, we visited the Ashmolean Museum that established in 1683.The museum is one of the oldest one in the world. It houses the extensive collections of art and antiguities, ranging back over four millennia. Then we visited the Christ Church Meadow. It is a large and tranquil flood meadow, bordered by the Thames and Cherwell Rivers. It is open until dusk each day and is an ideal location for walkers and picnickers. And the Christ Church Picture Gallery house an important collection of 300 Old Master paintings and almost 2000 drawing in a purpose-built gallery of considerable architectural interest.

Do you know? Movie 'Harry Potter' was just set here. And here is also the birth place of the famous fairy story Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland. And the college is also famous because it educated over ten prime ministers and many politicians.

To our surprise, we could visit the British coal mines. Like the miners, we wore helmets and carried boxes of water and oxygen. We took the elevator to the underground. The place was so dark that I even couldn't see my fingers. We could only use the searchlight on the helmet to light up the road and slowly went forward. A miner explained the history of the mines to us, which made me admire the intelligence of the past people. And we had a chance to touch and learn different kinds of minerals.

On July 18th. We took a bus to the Chantry school, which is my partner Ella's school. We experienced the life of the campus. We had lessons of English, Geology, Drama, Music and so on. The school establishes a rich learning environment for young minds. I could feel the active learning atmosphere and the harmonious relationship between the teachers and the students.

In the evening, the Chantry school held a big welcome party. Ella and her friend brought us a song with piano accompaniment. In addition, we also enjoyed the aerobics, ballet and folk dance. The schoolmates played the traditional Chinese Musical Instruments and won the applause. What's more, we chorused our school song. After the banquet, holding my partner and her family in my arms, we took photos in memory of our friendship.

On the last day, we went to London. Upon arriving in London. I cast my eyes up to the blue sky. In London, I felt everyone was warm and friendly. you are a tourist to work or learn, whether you are in a bus or in a mall shopping. On the trip to London, we visited many places of interest.

The London Eye is a giant Ferris wheel situated on the banks of the River Thames. It's one of the most popular paid tourist attraction in the UK. When I saw the London Eye, I even couldn't believe my eyes'-it's so big! I heard that the wonderful building offers fabulous views across the city.

Then we went to the Buckingham palace, one of the few working royal palaces remaining in the world today. We toured the nineteen State Rooms, which form the heart of palace. The magnificent rooms are decorated with some of the greatest treasures from the Royal Collection, including paintings by famous artists.

Well, we crossed the road and saw the Big Ben standing in front of us. It's one of London's most familiar landmarks and it's 150 years old. The English said, 'After 150 years old. Big Ben still holds a special place in the hearts of Londoners and the world as a magnificent example of engineering and building genius.'

I think that no other area of Britain is as rich in history, tradition and cultural associations as London. Throughout the capital there are great mansions, venerable old building, quaint houses, unrivalled collections of art treasures, tremendous sweeps of glorious parkland and colorful ceremonies to suit every possible taste and mood. History is there and, of course, it is worthwhile visiting London.

As far as I know, the 2012 Olympic Games just take place in London. I believe that when the Olympics come to London, it will be the biggest party in the town and it's hoped that event will attract more visitors and businesses to the capital.

There was a little episode during the whole journey. On the last night, when the bus came to the hotel, the driver lost his way. Finally, we had to drag bearing luggage marched in a dark forest. Looking at the stars, I just wanted to say it was a rare experience.

On July 20th,we finished our trip. After 13 hours of the plane journey, we returned the motherland's arms and felt very tried.

I won't forget the cattle and sheep pastured in the rural town, the pedestrians in the busy city. the elegant appearance of famous universities, ancient culture and so on.

The trip to Britain makes me broaden my horizons, learn the local tradition and customs and make many friends. What's more, the travel enables me to depend on myself and build up confidence in myself. It not only serves the purpose of having a good time, but also benefits me a lot and teaches me many things that can't be learned in class.
